How to tackle the meaning crisis of the 4th Industrial Revolution

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The 4th Industrial Revolution will bring about unprecedented change for our planet and the human experience. In this short talk I present some of the challenges we’re facing and how meaning-based intervention (such as but not limited to existential coaching) can help us tackle our unique human challenges that accompany this radical change.

The International Meaning Conference 2018 in Vancouver was themed “Courage, Faith, and Meaning: Existential Positive Psychology’s Response to Adversity”. As part of this symposium each panel member gave a 10min presentation around the theme of meaning making interventions followed by an open space for discussion and debate. This segment is mey contribution. The panel included prominent researchers and practitioners: Bruce Alexander, Ph.D. Yannick Jacob, M.A., M.Sc. Claude-Hélène Mayer, Ph.D. Robert Neimeyer, Ph.D. Emmy van Deurzen, Ph.D. Paul T. P. Wong, Ph.D. Julia Yang, Ph.D. Moderated by Joël Vos, Ph.D.
